Better to speak with the Hotel Management regarding this matter. Even though your visa is valid the hotel will be responsible for your stay here in UAE. So if and only if they allow to stay outside you can do. But you must have to pay the booked hotel days' fee.
It is not illegal to stay outside the hotel while you are on visit visa of the hotel. (Only the matter is responsibility of the hotel)
Best of Luck %26amp; Have nice journey
ThxUAE/Dubai Visa sponsored by Kempinski Hotel but want to stay with family friend after hotel stay. Possible?
You don't have to pay the hotel for adtl nights. I'm working in a hotel %26amp; provide Visa's daily. It's ridiculous that a top contributor's opinion is more valued even if it's false.

Jojo,
if you are receiving your visa through the hotel, you will still be able to extend your stay as long as the visa permits - usually 30 days since March 2008 without having to pay anything else besides the nights stayed in the hotel and the visa fee.
Have a look at below link, this is the official information of the Naturalization Department.

Booking a hotel just for 3 days Kempinski will provide you with a transit visa (4 days), means your friend has to apply for a visit visa to stay 3 days longer. This is only possible for the next two weeks because the visa rules will change 1st of Aug. and friends can no more sponsered Expats.
In case IF Kempinski will provide you with a tourist visa, you'll be good and do not have to pay any additonal fees after checking out.
Just look at you visa confirmation if it's a transit or tourist visa or call the reservation dept. of Kempinski.
If you're not on a budget, just overstay for 3 days, makes per person Dhs 100 per day = Dhs 600. That's it.
Take care.
You can stay with your friend (if your visa is valid) BUT you won't be spared from paying the rental charges (towards the hotel room, even if you are not staying with them), better to speak with the hotel managment.
