I have booked a hotel for my boyfriends birthday on Saturday. I wanted to go in before he got off work and fix it up to our liking...ya know....make it romantic.
What decorating tips for a night do you recommend?
Should I lay out my outfit on the bed or surprise him later on during the night?
The room has a hot tub in it...should I buy floating candles?
Am I being too mushy? How would I...? Romantic hotel stay?
I dont think you're being too mushy, my boyfriend actually enjoys doing stuff like that with me.
I wouldnt buy floating candles, but maybe buy some white pillar like candles in different sizes to put around the hot tub, or on the sink vanity if you cant put them around the tub. Bring along some good moisturizing bubble bath, like burts-bees brand. Then both of you will get out with really soft skin...
Candles add SO much to a room, so maybe buy some different sized pillar like candles for the room too. arrange them on the dresser.
I'd wait and surprise him with the outfit.
If you're of age to drink, maybe buy a fake-silver metal looking tray from a store and set up 2 glasses with a nice bottle of your favorite wine (or you can bring stuff to make some martini's or cosmos or something) .. and display it on the tray, maybe on the night stand near the bed?How would I...? Romantic hotel stay?
I don't know your boyfriend, but most men I've known couldn't care less about romantic stuff that we like. But I do think he'll appreciate anything you do that gets YOU in the mood. We wear lingerie and perfume and buy flowers and candles for ourselves mostly, but that's ok. Surprise him with some sexy lingerie, his favorite foods and drink and music.
OMG! I did this for my fiancee last year for his birthday. Yes floating candles are great. In fact don't stop there. Put candles of all different sizes around the room. If you choose to use scented candles don't forget to use only one scent, LOL!
Don't lay the outfit out, surprise him with it later on.
Have some strawberries also. Oh don't forget the rose petals. Have fun!
I don't think you're being too mushy. If it was me, I would put roses/rose petals on the bed. And just pink colored flowers to bring some energy to the room. And classical music playing softly in the background would be perfect. Candles( ones w/ subtle smells work best) are great for ambiance and dimmed light. And I think surprising him later in the night.
Rose petals, candles, surprise him with the outfit, and buy te floating candles.
It depends on how long you've been going out, if its been for a while, no, but if you've just started, maybe a little
