Has anyone used priceline.com or hotwire.com to name your own price for a hotel stay?

Looking for a hotel stay in daytona beach florida over the easter week this year. I know its last minute, and im not too picky about hotels because im only there to sleep and shower. Thats why i thought these sites may be what im looking for.Has anyone used priceline.com or hotwire.com to name your own price for a hotel stay?
I have used priceline for hotels and it worked just fine. You still have quite a bit of control over what you want/need. I did get what I wanted and I think it was about 2 weeks before a trip to NYC.

Check out http://www.24houredeals.com/priceline-co鈥?/a> for the information on the deals/etc.

Good luck.Has anyone used priceline.com or hotwire.com to name your own price for a hotel stay?
Be sure to investigate online web sites to get an idea of the price of rooms before you make a bid. Priceline gives you an option as to star ratings. Price accordingly.
Yes I have and if your not picky then that is the site for you.
Yes and I ended up paying 40 dollars more than a friend who went directly to the website.

And the place was a dump!

I always do that or use expedia to plan all of my trips.
