You are tipping the person who will be cleaning the room once you leave, and who has been cleaning the room while you are there.





You don't tip for a clean room when you arrive but for cleaning up your mess.Who are you tipping at a hotel stay?
When I stay in a hotel, I tip the person who brings my bags to my room ($1-$2 per bag), the housekeeper who cleans my room daily ($5 a day, left daily because the same person may not be cleaning the room every day due to days off, etc.), the valet ($5 every time I pick up my car), and the waitstaff ($2 a drink at the bar, 15-20% of a meal check) and I get great service.
We tip all the workers that made our stay a joy like...


1. Bell hop that takes our bags up to the room.


2. Desk clerk if they give us a great room with a blast of views-makes it happen specially if your on your anniversary and want to view the lights of Vegas strip and the Bellagio fountain at night and of caesars


with a peek at Paris's Tower. All lit and glitterg.


3. Bar tenders serving up good drinks


4. Waitress drink server handing us our selection at the pool and on the casino floor.


Every drink.


5. Room Service waiter when he brings up dinner cause we is too tired from walking all over hot hot hot Las Vegas.


6. The coffee shop waitress cause they work on their feet all day


and smile when they can just as easily show how much their feet hurt


and backs ache cause those food trays are labour.


7. The valet if he gets your car or limo and is snappy and polite and he


doesnt steal your CD's or Change out our of our cars glove box.


8. The buffet staff that has to work clearing our groups mess.


9. the spa staff that assist you.


10.the massuse for the relaxing workout.


11. the barber and the hairdresser in the hair place.


12. the airport baggage checker and the coffe guy at starbucks.


and anyone that works the craps table for your bets you win huge.

For sure you will tip the clean up person in the room. Maybe a couple of bucks to the bag person and taxi, one dollar for every drink ordered at the bar is usually me..
The day you check out is the time to leave a tip someone told us to leave $20 each for everyday we stayed but that seemed over the top so i halved it.
Most definitely the one who will be cleaning your room after you leave!
