Could I just book the flight and then rent a motel when we get there? My fiance and I are going to the bahamas for our honeymoon, and we don't have the money to book both right now. Technically NO.. it's illegal. You need to be able to tell your immigration and customs agent where you are staying or who you are staying with. The rules state that you have to have a place to stay or you will be considered a vagrant and returned to the states.


You will need to fill out documentation with your hotel name or where you are staying.





Don't take the chance.. you will end up with a crappy budget hotel for your honeymoon.





If you don't have the money at the moment..just book it thru the hotels website where you only have to leave a deposit.. not pay in full like orbitz, hotels.com etc.
Yes of course you can. You just tend to save yourself some money when you book them both at the same time together, from the same place or web site. Hope this helps!!
