What is the tax % for hotel stays in Florida?

I don't know the specific tax breakdown, but you're likely to pay about 20% in taxes in the Orlando/Disney area. Part of this is sales tax, part ';bed tax'; and a host of other things as well. We don't have a state tax in Florida, so we basically tax the tourists. What is the tax % for hotel stays in Florida?
I paid 11% on a visit there a few weeks ago. What is the tax % for hotel stays in Florida?
i would ask the hotel you are staying at.

in orlando it is either 11% or 12% depending on where you are staying. (that is the sales and hotel tax together)
last time i was in florida the tax was different in every county.
the current sales tax in florida is 7%
it varies by county - ie. Lee county is 5% but that is not consistent throughout other cities.
