Then honestly, you shouldn't be going to the Poconos. None of the hotels has had a facelift in decades. And the one hotel that is clean, Great Wolf Lodge, is swarming with small children. My favorite is Split Rock Lodge in Lake Harmony. It has been around since the 1920's but has been completely rebuilt and is very modern. They even have private cabins that are very romantic.
