I'm not sure about tickets for round trip flights, but you can find some really good online coupons for hotels in Chicago. The Econo Lodge has a coupon deal going on for 50% off regular room rate, which I'm pretty sure there's a couple just outside of downtown Chicago.

I would suggest http://www.Ooaha.com It does a price search on Most Hotel Sites and gives you a comparison pricing what everyone is offering. So you can choose the cheapest price. Customers have also given hotel reviews besides pics etc of hotels. Overall I like Ooaha.com as the best site to get cheapest hotel stay. Once I got Hilton at less than $40. Worth a try.
there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
